I just switched to a new brand of birth control and I've noticed my breasts are a bit more sensitive. Is this common?

Thanks [Smile]

HI Celestial,

By a new brand of birth control, do you mean a new brand of birth control pill?

While all birth control pill brands do the same thing, different people's bodies react in different ways to the different brands. So, your breasts being more sensitive is likely a side effect you're having with this brand. Many side effects go away after a few months, so I would suggest giving it some time. If you're uncomfortable after a few months have passed, you can go speak with your healthcare provider about it.

IN short, some people do experience breast sensitivity as a response to the birth control pill, and this can often pass as the body gets used to the pill.
