This is really embarrassing to ask, but I feel like it's important.

I'd really like to have an orgasm on my own and figure out what I like before I have sex with another person, but I can't seem to find anything that feels good.

My clit gets numb if I touch it for very long. I've heard people say that putting a finger or two inside your vagina feels good, but I can barely get one knuckle in, let alone two fingers. Am I not trying in the right position? Is it possible I'm not even touching the right things? I'm pretty sure I am, but...? >_<

Hello onlythedusk and welcome to Scarleteen.

There's really no right or wrong when it comes to masturbation, only what feels good and what doesn't.

Reading what you've said here, I think you'll find these articles I'm going to link you to to be helpful in getting you started in the right direction of figuring out what you like.
