I have been on birth control for a little less than a month and a half, and I recently missed a day. I read that when you miss a day you should just take the missed one when you remember - so you'd end up taking 2 in one day. Is that bad for you to take 2 in one day? I've also read that 2 BC pills can be as strong a dose as EC. If I missed one pill should I just not take it at all?

The best thing to do when you are not sure about pill-taking issues is to consult the information packet that comes with your pill. With most brands of the pill, it is suggested that you make up a missed pill as soon as you remember, even when that means taking two pills together. And if those are the instructions that came with your pill, then you can trust them. To double-check, you can also give your pharmacist a call.

Thank you. Does it matter if the missed pill was a few days ago? Should I still take 2 in one day?

Yep! As joey said, it's recommended to do it as soon as you remember -- even if it's been several days.
