So for the past three months I've been spotting between my periods, which isn't normal for me. I've been getting random, crampy pain in the middle of my cycle. Worst of all, my stomach has become permanently bloated within the last month or two! I look pregnant! I haven't gained weight or changed my eating or exercise habits significantly. My stomach feels almost hard, not squishy like fat should, and the volume's concentrated below my belly button. It doesn't seem like a digestive issue. I've never had sex or done anything with my boyfriend without clothes on, and my period's been coming regularly (with the next one due around October 10). I took two HPTs last week and both were negative. What's wrong with me?

Breakthrough bleeding isn't usually anything to worry about, it just happens from time to time. But since it has been happening for three months in a row, I would suggest giving your doctor a call just to be safe. And while you are at it, you can also mention your other symptoms.
