Hi, A couple of weeks ago my boyfriend was diagnosed with an epididymitis infection and has been taking antibiotics for it. While he was at the doctor getting treated he was given an STD test to ensure that the infection was not caused by an STD. He got negative results for STDs. We have used protection every time we have had sex and have not had sex in nearly a year, however I was wondering if it would be best for me to also go get tested. I have not had any weird symptoms but neither had be prior to his infection. Would an STD test even be correct for this situation?
