I really want to get the HPV vaccine, as I have a family history of cancer. However, my insurance doesn't cover the vaccine, and out of pocket it appears to be around $900, which is unaffordable for me.
Are there any sliding-scale clinics or or other low cost options for people in my situation? I hate to think that cancer prevention is out of reach for me because of money.

Have you yet looked into the public health services/clinics in your city or state to see if they offer the vaccine to people for lower rates? They often will, even to insured people.

I did a little bit of digging, and it looks to me like your best bet is to get in touch with the Massachusetts Women's Health Network to see what they might have to offer you with this.
They have a toll-free information line: 1-877-414-4447
