I am on a trip, in a different time zone than where I live. I usually take my pill, Loryna, every day at 10 pm, but I am currently in a time zone that is 3 hours behind. So the first night here, I took my pill at 7pm (which would make it my regular time back home). However, I forgot to take my pill last night at 7pm here, and took it three hours late. I am on my last few active pills, with the placebo pills starting on Wednesday. Has my pill been affected, since I took it three hours late? (haven't taken a pill this late at all during this pack). Do I need to use back-up protection?

The pill is not considered late if taken any time up to three hours after the usual time. So you're definitely within the bounds of effective use.
