Of course! You are very welcome. [Smile]

Now, with unexplained physical pain, the first thing I am going to ask is whether you have ever discussed this with a doctor. If you have not done so, why don't you do that, first? And then we can discuss whatever comes of that.

If you have already seen a doctor and they were unable to find a physical cause for your pain, we can take it from here.

Not being doctors, we can't really make any guesses as to whether there is a connection between your difficult labor, and the pain you experience with intercourse. Only a doctor can make that assessment. But when you do go in to see a doctor, you'll want to make sure to mention everything that could be important, including your problems during labor.

And, yes: you'll want to see a gynecologist.

I'd also be sure to be clear that an issue with your uterus likely has nothing to do with your vagina. They're very different things, and the uterus isn't going to be a factor with vaginal pain with intercourse.

It might also help you to know that pain with intercourse is generally an issue GYNs will have had others come to them about before, so it's very unlikely you'll be the first person going to your GYN about this with.
