Hi! I just posted on here a few days ago about getting an STD test. My boyfriend and I went together and got tested at our student health center. It was actually a great experience. So far, we haven't received any news, but I anticipate that it will be fine. I hope at least!

Anyway, for about a week, my vagina has been SEVERELY itchy. It even swells up when I itch it vigorously. It's mostly at night. No discharge. No odor. It's all over. On top of my clitoris, and near my vaginal opening. I was itching VERY vigorously last night that it became raw.

Anyway, I found a little knick on my labia majora last night. This morning it's still there, but smaller and no longer red. Seems like it's going away. It's only one tiny one (so small it's like the end of a pin). No cluster, no blister.

Could this be a different kind of herpes? I'm worried sick. I'm pretty sure my partner doesn't have herpes. I've never had an itch like this. It's maddening, especially since it's only at night.

I'm also INCREDIBLY stressed out and it's making my vagina dry. Could this be a cause?

I'd appreciate any input. Thanks!

When you got tested, did you ask about this then?

They asked if I had symptoms and I said I had extreme itch but no discharge or odor, so they gave me a gonorrhea and chlamydia test.

The nurse also said that vaginal itching and dryness can occur with stress.

Even when you made clear the itching was really severe, and when they saw this swelling?
