Hi, I'm 14, and I'm pretty normal as far as puberty goes. I've gone through everything, growth, breasts, pubic hair...everything, yet I still don't have my period. Everyone else in my family (moms, aunts, cousins) started it before 14. Even my 12 year old cousin has it! But for about a year, every month for about 4 days its like I'm on my period...cramps, bloating, increased arousal, mood swings, etc. All the symptoms, but no blood. I'm 5 foot 4 and about 95-100 pounds, so I'm underweight, and that makes me worry that I'm not getting my period because of my weight. Help!

I know it feels strange not to have your period yet but you're definitely not outside the realm of normal. The average age for menarch (beginning menstruation) is anywhere from 9 to 16.
Have you spoken with your doctor about your concerns that your period hasn't come yet, and your related concern about your weight?
