my girlfriend took a pregnancy test last week then she took a test just a while ago. both results were negative however her period has not arrived yet. its been two weeks already and still no period. what does that mean? since the test results were both negative does that mean that she really isn't pregnant? thank you! There are a lot of reasons periods can be late: pregnancy is just one of many.

With two negative tests taken after a late period properly both showing negative results, yes, you both can be as certain as it gets she is not pregnant.

Here are some other common reasons for late periods: M.I.A or, Dude, Where's My Period?

hi just another follow up question. my girlfriend has took two pregnancy tests already and both were negative however still no period. anyway today she saw a brownish red blotch in her panty liner. also she says that the upper part of her butt hurts. what does this mean? and can we safely conclude that pregnancy is really out of the answers? thank you! If she is bleeding that is likely her period, which means she is not pregnant.

Also, if she is 2 weeks late then the pregnancy tests should be reliable.
