My periods are usually normal, and I was supposed to get my period October 10th. Well, today is the 14th (almost the 15th) and still nothing. I had cramps, and noticed a lot of discharge that made me believe my period had arrived, but it hadn't. I took a pregnancy test yesterday morning and it was negative, but the test was probably 5 months old since it had been sitting in my closet. It wasn't expired so I figured it was okay.
Should I take another test if I still don't see my period by Monday? That would make me a week late.

Can I ask how you chart your periods? If so, over the last, say, six months, how many days long were each of your cycles? When did your last period start?

First day of my last period was on September 13th. I count 28 days, but usually see my period between 28 and 30 days. My cycles last about 5 days.

So, in the last six months, your cycles have all been between 28 and 30 days long?

Okay. By my count, though, we're only looking at 33 days right now. And sometimes, periods do just skip: it happen now and then.
So, for now, I'd give this another week, then, if you did have any possible pregnancy risks, retest.
