Is it possible that wearing a thong gave me a rash down there? I wore thongs for four days straight due to volleyball tryouts. Last Thursday night I noticed that down there is very irrated and red looking. I havent worn a thong for three days but the irritation is still there. Anything I can do to make it go away?

Thanks so much!

Personally, I would have strongly advised against wearing a thong during sports, period. Thongs can make the movement of bacteria from the rectum much easier to the vagina, likely all the more so when you're also getting really sweaty.

Where is the rash that you have. Just where the strap of the thing was?
