While not really about sexual health, which I know this board is dedicated to, I'm asking anyways in hopes that you can point me in the right direction. I'm somewhat looking at finding a psychiatrist but have no idea where I would begin and what it would look like. I presume these kinds of things aren't covered under general walk-in clinic types. >.> As such, what options do I have, living in BC, Canada?

(Not sure what's up here with two of you asking different questions on the same thread, but I'll grab them both regardless.)

Destinee: Mental healthcare is usually covered under your national health, and sometimes there are community mental health clinics, like, for instance, this one: http://www.bcmhas.ca/default.htm

So, you can look -- we can help you if you like -- online or in phone listings for clinics like that, or you can ask your general physician for a referral.

diva94: There are people with semen allergies, but it is pretty rare. What's much more common is for people to feel conflicted about something in their sex lives, then feel anxiety about it, which can often result in nausea.

So, before going to the rare scenario, I'd want to check in and make sure you're feeling okay about engaging in oral sex, and that you feel good about this sexual relationship on the whole. How are you feeling about all of this? Comfortable, happy and relaxed? Or....?

Thank you for the link, Heather. I'll check it out and see if I can get somewhere with a physician at a clinic, see if I can make some headway.
