Should I be needing to shower/do a bit of cleaning after my boyfriend's gone down on me? We didn't use any sort of covering, of course. I realize the vagina is self-cleaning - but, to be sanitary, ought I be showering or wiping down or something after oral sex?

That's a matter of personal preference. There is no medical reason that you'd need to but there is also no reason not to.

You can still spread STIs through oral sex so using a barrier is something you can definitely do. Dental dams are usually available or you can make one out of a condom.

Hey folks, my name is Andrew and I was a mod here for awhile a couple years ago. I'll be here for a couple weeks while Heather is out and the site is even more short-staffed than usual
