I went for an annual exam and found out I have BV. Currently, I'm taking medication.
Is it possible that my boyfriend has it too? How do I know? I don't want to get it again..

Well, if your boyfriend has a penis, he can't have bacterial vaginosis, though he can have other bacterial infections.

If you two are sexually active and NOT using condoms, are you BOTH current with annual sexual healthcare, including full STI tests?

BV may or may not be related to your sex life, but if and when it is, using condoms helps prevent that infection, just like others.
