When you are on bc and on the last week when you are supposed to get your period, are you still protected against pregnancy even if you are only taking a placebo those days? Because when i stop taking the pill on sunday, i dont actually get my period until like wednesday, so is it ok to have sex during those days, or is it more risky?

You are protected all throughout the cycle (even during the placebo week) as long as you take your pills correctly (on time, no missed pills). It's normal for your withdrawal bleed to take a few days to come after you stop taking the active pills since your body is adjusting to the drop in hormones. The pill doesn't protect against STIs though, so if you and your partner have not yet been tested for STIs, it would be a good idea to use a condom for all genital contact.
