Scarleteen... I'm back, I wish I would have learned from the first time.
I'm guilty with no alibi, here it goes:
.... My boyfriend and I were messing around and he fingered me. After he fingered me I touched his member for just a second, but than put on my underwear right after that. Is there anyway that while I was putting my underwear I would have possibly transfered some pre-cum? ( when I touched it, it was entirely dry but I am still worried.) I am on the pill also, and have been taking it for about a year now, but I took my pill an hour late the next morning after this incident, does that effect the pills effectiveness? ... I am so scared and I just need some reassurance.
I guess I just feel like every time I touch my boyfriends member, that I am somehow going to get pregnant? where are these fears coming from? I am 19 and I act like I am much younger in terms of being realistic with sexual behaviors. Help!

First of all, you have a three hour window when it comes to taking the pill. Taking the pill one hour late is actually perfectly fine. You don't need to start worrying until it's been more than 12 hours, and even then, only if it happens more than once.

So, no matter what happened, you have not had a pregnancy risk because there is no reason to assume that your protection from the pill was compromised.

But even if you were not on the pill, the situation you described does not present a risk. Check out our Risk Assessment Chart:

thank you. So even if I had pre-cum on my hand by some chance, I would be protected?

Yes, you would still be protected.

But even without the pill, you won't get pregnant from touching yourself with a drop or to of precum on your fingers. For that to create a risk, your fingers would need to be dripping with ejaculate.
