I'm 16 years old and I've never had a period. i was just wondering if that is normal or if I should be really worried about it. What is the average age that a teenage girl should start her cycle? If I never have a period, will that in anyway affect my ability to give birth?
Often, "late blooming" when it comes to menses has no impact on fertility.
And it can be normal, since everyone's developmental timetables differ.
How about the rest of puberty for you? have you already had breast development, body hair growth, some hip widening, etc?
How's your weight? Are you by any chance underweight?

I've been through everything else as far as breast development, body hair growth and things like that. And no, I'm not underweight. I just never had a period. Is there a possibility that I will never have one?
