questions:
1-how many days after the conception does it appear?
2-why does it appear?
3-how long does it last(how many days)?
4-how can i tell the difference between it and my period,from the quantity point of view?is it lighter,or just as heavy?

1) Implantation bleeding can occur anytime from a day or two to a week after unprotected sex. However, it does not occur for every pregnant woman.

2)It's caused by the fertilized egg burrowing into the uterine lining to make a place for itself in the uterus. Sometimes this causes a few small blood vessels to break, hence the bleeding.

3) In general, implantation bleeding lasts only a day or two.

4) It is much lighter than a normal period, usually just spotting or some brownish or pinkish discharge. Some women do mistake it for a very very light period, but it wouldn't be anything like a normal period.
