Why is it necessary to pinch the tip of the condom if it already has a reservoir tip? If you have never pinched the reservoir tip before, but just roll the condom down, smoothing out air on the sides as you go, but semen still collects in the reservoir, is that something to worry about?
I'm not trying to fight the general medical opinion...I was just wondering. There are a ton of steps in "perfect" usage, and I'm realizing that I have not always done it that way, but have never experienced pregnancy. Thanks for any answers!

Because often if you don't hold the tip, it'll get stretched over the head of the penis, since latex is thin and stretchy.

Meaning stretched too tightly over the head, like a sock to a foot? Sorry. Just making sure I follow.
