When I start my period my legs get so sore. Mostly my thighs. It last for like the first couple days of my period. It gets to the point where I can barely move or where I have to move or stretch my legs because it's so uncomfortable. Why are my legs hurting so bad ? What can I do about it?

Sounds like menstrual cramps, believe it or not.

The cramping of your uterus can cause other nearby muscles to cramp up "in sympathy", so it's not unusual to get pain in your back or legs as well.

Painkillers like ibuprofen will help, and so will stretches - stretches like a runner or walker would do for your quad muscles, and yoga stretches, can help a lot.
