So yesterday I was awoken by really bad pain. Funny thing is it would last for about a minute go away for bout 5 minutes. Did this for almost 5 hours. I tried eating, drinking, walking around at the store nothing helped.
So I get home and I was sitting on the chair in my room curled up watching TV. Wondering what the hell was wrong with me. I was debating with myself weather I should go to the emergency room or not it was starting to irritate me so much I couldn't figure out what it was.
Then I felt it, after 2 1/2 years of not having a period I felt that familiar feeling. So I rushed to the bathroom and low and behold there it was. LOL. Needless to say I had to go back to the store.
I just don't remember it being this painfull.
So next step is for me to schedule and appt with my obgyn.
Regardless, if you had been menstruating and then stopped for 2 1/2 years, and haven't been taking anything that could affect that (like Depo-Provera, aka the Shot), it's time for the gynecologist.
Also, yes, if you're debating whether to go to the emergency room and then having a period after not having one for so long.
So I'm not sure what your question is, but yes, it's time to make an appointment.
