i need help ive tried to stop cutting but i cant its like ive become addicted only one person knows and thats my boyfriend cuz he found out on day and i feel bad cuz he wants me to stop but then like he will ignore me or something or like be mad and it comes back the urge to do it, i dont know what to do im just really upset.

cutting is a common and terribly self-destructive behavior.

The best way to stop cutting is to seek counseling. Talk to your school guidance counselor, ask for a referral to a psychologist or therapist. talk out the problems you have that you would otherwise try to relieve through cutting. What you need to do is learn how to channel those negative feelings into something positive. that way, you will stop cutting, and you will learn how to handle those things that stress you.
