how come my peroid lasts 4 like 8 days?, is this normal cuz most of my friends get it from 3-5 days

No two women are exactly the same. Your period or cycle won't necessarily be EXACTLY like anyone else's.

It is perfectly normal to have a menstrual phase that lasts anywhere from just a couple days to seven or more days, and both light and heavy flow, or a combination of the two, are both also normal.

If you're worried about it, ask your doctor the next time you speak to him/her.
