how do you know if your lymph nodes are swollen?

feel under your armpits and at the soft spot under your ears on your neck. that's where your lymph nodes are. if the nodes are swollen, you'll feel a hard, solid lump. they might even ache like they're bruised. they can swell up to the size of a large gumball, or golfball-sized at worst.
