This essay was quite widely disseminated around the internet, but I thought it should have a home here in case anyone hadn't seen it. It's simple, clear, powerful, and so spot-on, and written by a young person.

http://transgriot.blogspot.co.uk/2013/01/sadies-dream-for-world.html

""The world would be a better place if everyone had the right to be themselves, including people who have a creative gender identity and expression."
"It would be a better world if everyone knew that transgender people have the same hopes and dreams as everyone else."

Yes.

LOVED this letter, and floated it on our social media, but thanks for sharing it on the boards, Redskies.

(And good to see you! Hope you're doing well. [Smile] )

Ah. I am a social media incompetent. Well, it's good enough for both, anyway [Smile]

(And thank you very much. And I won't clutter this thread.)

Pfft: I'm sure you're not. We put out a lot of content on our channels every day, so missing a thing or two is likely hardly uncommon!

(And I agree! It should go everywhere!)
