So I've not been formally offered anything yet, but several of my good friends here at college are in the same sorority, and we have been talking about the Greek system. I like the idea in principle but the fraternities don't appeal to me here.
I've been told that they're not really set up for me to pledge to a sorority, but they would probably be happy to have me as an honorary member. I'm not sure how I feel about that. I haven't inquired officially yet, this is just my friend's advice about how the system is likely to be.
Does anyone else have advice or experience to do with tackling the gender binary in the Greek system?
