Hey, So I've had a cold for about 2 weeks (or liek a week and a half) and i never really had a runny nose or anything like that, it was just a lot of mucus in my throat and a general crappy feeling and then it became a cough with a little less mucus in the throat (but still a lot) and no crappy feeling. I have two questions: 1) I'm in Footloose and we open this thursday so im worried about still being sick, which would be bad because i sing a LOT of solos... I have been drinking a lot of tea and lemons and honey, i've also been gargling with salt water, does anyone know of anything i could do to get rid of the mucus? even if its a quick fix for right before i go onstage? 2) My director was like "if your coughing up anything colored you need to go to a doctor and get antibiotics because its bacterial".... my question is, what qualifies as colored? cuz i mean i always thought mucus was greenish/yellowish and that was normal. so should i only be worried if its like, turquoise? thanks!!
