I have a wart or spot on the outer labia/vagina lips and i was wondering what could have caused it. I have had absolutely no sexual activity or contact with anyone in that area. It's quite near the inner labia and is sort of white/pink in colour-i think it only appeared yesterday and doesn't hurt or itch-could it just be a wart, spot or insect bite in that area? Or could it be that i shaved that area and it affected it?
Heh how embarrassing...

hi smiley,

as this is the net, no one here can know just what is happening on your genitals there.
indeed, it could be an ingrown hair or infected cut from shaving, or a plain old pimple or boil. it being a wart is rather unlikley if this wasn't there yesterday. warts don't grow overnight.

i'd see how this behaves over the next few days: if it's a pimple, it should behave like one and heal somewhat. if it doesn't, your doc would be the right person to advise you further.

and hey, nothings embarassing here. people talk about bumps on their genitals at all times at these boards.
