Hi there! I've been on birth control for only two weeks now, but I'm concerned about the side effects. I noticed that I have a sudden decrease in appetite; I rarely want to eat anything. I'll ty to eat in the morning so I'm not nauseated after taking the pill.

Is this a common side effect while taking birth control? And if so, does it usually happen this early in the first pack?

This may or may not have anything to do with your pill. Changes in appetite are a possible side effect, but not what I would say is ever listed as a common one, but who knows.

However, if this keeps up and it keeps you from eating well, you will just want to check in with your healthcare provider and see what they have to say about it.
