Hi I'm lucy.
I got a prescription from my doctor on Tuesday to take sprintec 28 that same day however I got it yesterday, now I am 3 days into my menstruation right now and I don't know if I can take it or wait till Sunday. If I can do I take the blue pill first? Or the white ones?

Hey, Lucy: welcome to the Scarleteen boards. [Smile]

A "Sunday start" is a bit poorly named, since that way of starting the pill can be not just on, but BY the first Sunday after a period begins.

In other words, if you start it any day after the first day of a period, but before or ON the first Sunday after a period starts, it's still a Sunday start.

Does that help clear that up for you?

Your pill pack insert tells you EXACTLY how to take your pills if your pack does have the pills ordered and numbered, or listed with days (even if the days won't correlate to how you're taking your pills), as it should.

I believe your brand and type has a rectangular pack, am I right? If so, you want to start your pill with the first blue pill (the active pills, the ones that contain hormones) in the top left corner, taking one of those a day, left to right for each week until you go through a whole cycle and finish that pack, moving on to the next.
