Long story. Sort of!
I started up again on the pill yesterday (Christmas Eve) and take my last one on January 13th, then do the sugar pill break to get my "period". On Feb 12th-19th I get to see my long distance boyfriend and I'm due for my period that week. So on January 20th when I start another new pack, can I take that pack and skip the sugar pills and immediately start a new pack? I don't get to see my boyfriend much right now and I'd hate to have my period during this time. Thank you.

If you are taking a combined pill, you should be fine to skip the sugar pills and start a new pack at that time. Be aware that you may still have some 'breakthrough' bleeding or spotting while taking the new pack.

If you plan to run your pill-packs together in that way long term, make sure you confirm it first with your doctor.
