I've just begun Portia combination pill this month (let's hear it for planned parenthood) and, although I put I was taking Paroxentine (Paxil) on my chart, I'm not sure if the physician there saw it.

I've heard that anti-depressants can make BC ineffective... Does anyone know if Paxil or Paroxetine interact with the pill?

Hi inkfit- I can't find any information on the web that suggests that this kind of hormonal birth control interacts with Paxil; however, your best bet would be to call your doctor and ask, just to be sure.
