I want to do my part in the situation of using contraception methods even if my boyfriend will use a condom.
But I want a method that I only do/use/take when I have sex (unlike the pill) and that doesn't mess around with my hormones (non-hormonal-altering such as the patch or pill)

Sure, you have a couple options for at-the-time-only BC.
You can look into cervical barriers (the diaphragm, the cervical cap, the contraceptive sponge) or into spermicides.
