Ok I've decided after some research that I want to start taking the pill. My biggest problem at the moment is my mother. She is completely against me doing anything remotely sexual, she even told me before that if she find's out that I'm doing anything with anyone she's sending me back to living with my father. She's gone so far as to having me home schooled to "keep my mind on my studies not boys"

Ok I do realize this board is more about birth control and less about over bearing mothers. I just figured a little background might be in order so I when I do finally get around to asking my question I don't a bunch of reply’s saying that I should just talk to my mom, which clearly is not an option.

Alright my question is this is there anyway I could get the pill without my mother's knowledge. I'm only 15 so I know that's a cause for problems in it's self. Also I know there's a Planned parenthood near by but again can they help me without my parent's consent?

Getting the pill without parental consent is a popular topic around here, so you're certainly not alone. While it is a good idea that the people who are responsible for your health care know about any medications you're taking (in case, for example, you were even in an accident and they needed to give information about you), there are cases where telling someone what's going on will do more harm than good. If you believe that this is such a case, then there are places like Planned Parenthood where you can
get access to birth control without parental consent.

Here are some other threads about this issue where people share their ideas and experiences.

Where do I get access to hormonal birth control methods? And do my parents have to know? http://www.scarleteen.com/forum/Forum2/HTML/001856.html http://www.scarleteen.com/forum/Forum2/HTML/000872.html http://www.scarleteen.com/forum/Forum2/HTML/002156.html http://www.scarleteen.com/forum/Forum2/HTML/001158.html http://www.scarleteen.com/forum/Forum2/HTML/001522.html http://www.scarleteen.com/forum/Forum2/HTML/000945.html
