Ok the other day i went to our local health deptartment and they gave me free condoms. the problem is they gave spermadically lubricated condoms. I have read on here why they aren't recommended and i found out for my self the other day. It got dry really fast, even with lots of Astroglide. It was horrible. my question is, why would a health department give out condoms that are more likely to cause problems?

Because older research said spermicidally lubricated condoms were a good idea, and not everyone's gotten caught up yet. That's not uncommon, but you can feel good about knowing better.
