I don't really spend much time on Mtv anymore and I haven't watched very many episodes of "16 and Pregnant", but I had heard about this special and just watched the video on their website.
Let me say, I'm impressed. The special was very well-done. It was nuanced, and real, and thoughtful. It stuck to the facts, and still showed all of the facets of a topic as controversial and difficult as abortion. The whole show was done in a very honest, respectful way, and the women they interviewed were so beautiful and strong. It was exactly the sort of non-judgmental conversation this topic needs, and so rarely gets.
ETA: Don't read the comments on Mtv's website. They show just how necessary this show was, and leave a very bitter taste in your mouth.
