I have seemed to have developed a black line on my stomach that reaches from my belly button, to my pelvic bone. I'm not pregnant and there's no chance of me even being so as I had my period for last month and haven't had sex since. I'm a fair Asian (half white, half Thai) tanned colour, so could that have something to do with the line looking so apparent? Just a bit sceptical about it... thanks.

These kinds of general issues of the skin -- especially since this is not about pregnancy -- are outside our scope.

The right person to ask about this would be a general healthcare provider who can take a look in person.
