So while waiting on my gf's period, she's been feeling quite chilly lately. Just wondering if you guys know what might be causing this and how I can help alleviate it, other than wrapping her in blankets and getting her a warm cup of hot cocoa, of course.

Hi ParanoidConfused,

Thank you for using Scarleteen! Before I continue, I would like to remind you that Scarleteen is a sex education site, and is not one to provide medical advice or information. As such, you may want to bring this up with a professional medical healthcare provider for answers. I hope this helps and that your partner feels better soon.

As Patricia said, it's really not possible for us to know why your girlfriend is chilly. She'd need to talk to a healthcare provider about that.

That said, hormonal fluctuations associated with the menstrual cycle can cause some people to have chills.

I think you have a good strategy there with the blankets and hot cocoa. [Smile]
