I was wondering if it's possible that my boyfriend caused a UTI? He fingered me, and about 2 days after, I started feeling a little different. I pretty well doubt it's an STI. The symptoms I have are the urge to urinate and very little comes out, and feeling like I have to urinate often. I also have a little discharge, but I've had that since I started my period. HELP!

UTIs happen because bacteria gets into the urinary tract. That can happen with any kind of genital sex. With manual sex, if partners wash their hands first, that cuts down on the risk a lot, but it can still happen.

If these symptoms keep up over the next day or two, you'll want to seek out heathcare. In the meantime, try and drink plenty of water: with mild UTIs, sometimes they will come and go on their own and pushing fluids through can help with that process.
