Hey, I'm 19 and my penis is just over 5 inches when erect. Is this "normal"? I know that everyone varies but will girls think it is really small?

Most of the nerve endings in the vagina are near the opening (within 1-2 inches) so size doesn't really matter. Also, 5 inches is more than enough if later on in life you plan to have a baby. If you get into a relationship, chances are, if the person you are with loves you deeply, then there wont be any issues about your size.

Edit: Might I also add that the average penis size can vary between 5 to 6 inches approximately. So you are a very average size, like most of the rest of us guys [Smile]

Hi Carson1234,
Relax, you are within the normal adult size range! You may also like to know that puberty and related developing (penis size) doesn’t end, on the average, until 20-25 yrs old (no individual promises though). Also, Fireflyboy is correct that the most sensitive areas of the vagina (and rectum too) are the first two inches; beyond that it is a minimal difference in sensations. Your girlfriend most likely won’t notice any difference in your length compared to any other normal male. Besides, there many more things involved in sexual activities than intercourse. [Big Grin]

You're certainly normal, like the other members said. I thought you'd probably find this useful: Shown Actual Size: A Penis Shape and Size Lowdown.
