I started the pill back in March, and have been very happy with it.

The only problem is, i am now on my second yeast infection since then. I got one not long after starting the pill, and now have one again.

The first time my doctor examined and confirmed that it was yeast, gave me Diflucan, and I was fine.

This time, I wrote her as soon as i suspected it, and she said to use an over the counter method, which I plan to pick up tomorrow.

What I'm worried about is weather or not I'm going to end up with recurring ones. The stuff I've read says not to worry unless they're less than 2 months apart, and mine was 3, but i never had one until I got on the pill.

I follow all the guidelines for preventing, I don't douche, i keep myself dry, all that. The only think is, i do take baths instead of showers. Can that cause it?

Is there anything i can take to prevent them, maybe some probiotics? I've heard yogurt is good for it, but i can't stand it.

Not very regular. I skip a lot of meals, and will eat very healthy one day, and very unhealthy the next. I eat meat most days, bread every day, and not too many vegetables.

Though, since the last post i've examined myself more closely, and i don't think its a yeast infection anymore. My entire vulva is fine, except for what appears to be a tiny nick just below my left inner labia, about a half a centimeter from my vagina, and that area is the only part that really itches and burns. I think i might have just hurt myself the last time i had sex, since it was a little rough and we didn't use very much lube.

I thought of putting some Neosporin on it, but i know that some antibiotics can cause yeast infections, so i wanted to be careful. Any suggestions?
