Hi.
I was wondering if anyone can help me with my, I dont know whether its a problem but...

For the last two days my discharge has been very dark brown, I'm not due for my period for another 7 days and im pretty sure this hasnt occured before. It looks pretty much the same as the last 2 or 3 days of a week long period, as I said, its not due for another week yet and it pretty much comes around the same 2 or 3 days a month...
I had a (sort of) pregnancy scare a short while ago --
(Got advidce on the Pregnancy and Parenting section here) --
and took a negative test and just to make sure I took another one this morning - nagative.

If anyone could help me.
I would research this but am not sure how I would go about writting this into a question, so I came here...

If someone could get back to me in the next few hours that would be great, if not over the next few days would be really appriecitated.

Thanks alot!

Sarah.

Brown discharge close to your period or shortly after your period is considered relatively normal. It's when you start seeing random bleeding or spotting nowhere near a period that there should be concern.

Are you taking hormonal BC? It can sometimes cause random spotting/darkened discharge in some users.

Other than that, though, it's probably a wonk in the system. Discharge patterns can be hard to predict and explain, but given this is the week before your period, this discharge is neither surprising nor alarming. [Smile]
