I am 16 years old a female and i am not sexually active i have only been once but i only messed about i never actually had sex. I was wondering can something be wrong with a Vulva if youve never had sex, i havnt had sexual contact for at least a year now n i just want to no, can something be rong down there, that wasnt 'cought' (not sure wat word to use) from someone else? Theres a lot of things on this web site saying how all of 'them' r individual BUT appearance wise, wat could possibly be wrong or reallly different in that area???????
At the moment ive decided i dont wont anyone looking or touching my body until i know that my vulva looks normal

Wrong in what way? Do you think you are seeing symptoms of an infection? Not all infections are causes solely by genital contact, UTIs or yeast infections for example can also just randomly happen. If yor're experiencing some kind of discomfort, you should see your doctor about that.

I should also point out that sex doesn't change the appearance of your genitals.

Outside of that, there isn't really anything that could be wrong with your vulva. I'm not sure what you're asking, really.

No, no discomfort or anything like an infection but i just feel like mine has too much skin, its gross. Im probably just paranoid but thats just how it seems to me. Is it possible to have too much. The skin down there seems really bunched up, do other people have this skin problem??
Thanks [Smile]

There's really no such thing as too much skin on a vulva- it's super common, and there are all sorts of common, normal variations in the appearances of vulvas. It's honestly nothing to worry about, and if you ever end up with a partner who thinks otherwise, they're probably not a good person to be sexual with in the first place. [Smile]
