ok, i have a question and it's kinda embarrassing to me atleast. i had acne, i went on accutane for 5 months, got off it a few weeks ago. it worked great! i have no acne at all! but however, i had the red spots from the acne [Frown] i dont have any indentions on my face, thank God! i cant get any real surgery like laser treatments or microdermabrasions for 5 months, because accutane is such a serious medication. but is there anything that i can do to make the red spots (or scars whatever they are) fade away more quickly?! and especially by summer time!!!!

Panda, your question is really more of a General Health or Body and Soul-related one -- no problem, it'll be moved in a bit.

I can say this: Acne is nothing to be embarassed of, it's something most people have to deal with to various degrees. People totally understand where you're coming from on this. I'm glad to hear that Accutane helped! [Smile]

I believe that spots/scars fade naturally a bit over time. I would follow your doctor's instructions and give your skin a break, including trying not to stress about this too much. Eat nutritious foods, drink plenty of water and protect yourself from the sun are always good to keep in mind. I don't think there's a magic fix other than giving it time and later exploring options.

Why not look into things non-skin related to make yourself feel better? Like try out a new hairstyle or outfit or start a hobby or sport you've been wanting to do for awhile. Exercise is always good for circulation. (I mean all this in a positive way; I hope it doesn't sound too "d'uh!" to you... [Wink] )

I just got off Roaccutane, don't know if it's the same, and my GP said the marks would fade. I was on the stuff for 34 weeks. *shudder*
