My g/f and I recently had sex for the first time. We used lots of lubricant, but I had a hard time penetrating her. I guessed she was nervous so I tried to make her relax, just lying beside each other for a bit. Eventually I was able to put all of my penis in her, although she said it hurt. Am I too big for her? My penis is 7" long and 5.5" in around?

The vaginal opening and canal expands and loosens with sexual arousal.
So, when your partner IS both relaxed and aroused, as much as she gets, it'll be easier for her. Often, it just takes time, plenty of other sexual activities, and the sorts of things you already did: just being present, being responsive to what is working for her, etc.
But since a lot of women ARE going to be at least a little nervous, it's very common for first intercourse to be...well, not all that wonderful for women.

Thank you. We had sex for the second time this past weekend. She said it didn't hurt this time.
