I've really got a very bad self image, I am 5"5 tall and I weigh 150 pounds. I need help, I just cant accept myself, I cant stop comparing myself to other models and beautiful girls in skool. Boys always tell me " you are too fat" And it really gets me down i would appreciate al of your replies.
------------------ "Learning to love yourself is the greatest love of all"
The boys who are slagging your appearance deserve, and should receive, a good degree of misery when they find that no girls are willing to become involved with them because of their lousy attitudes. There's no excuse for behaviour like that.
As for how you feel, though . . .why does your body bother you? If it's because you compare yourself to other women, would it really make you feel better if you looked exactly like them? Wouldn't it be sort of creepy to be that clone-like? Is it because you're curvier than them? Do you know how many people find curvy women gorgeous, and desirable? You're really about average size, and height, for an adult woman, and there's nothing wrong with that. It's not only models and skinny women who have men, and other women, who love them. I'm guessing your body works just fine, so see the beauty in that, and let it show. I'm more attractive, and get more positive attention at 140lbs than at 111, which I used to be, simply because I'm more confident, and less ashamed of my body.
