When is the spotting happening in your cycle?

Otherwise -- and perhaps even then -- sounds like your periods are perfectly normal and very average. When we talk about "normal" cycles we're usually talking about general regularity in terms of around the same number of days for each full fertility cycle, things like cramps being manageable, not terribly painful, a basic average amount of flow (it's usually 2-3 ounces, though that often looks like more than it is), a period lasting somewhere around 5-7 days, and PMS symptoms which are also manageable.

That's likely ovulation spotting then: that happens for some women and it's not abnormal.
