hello! ok so starting last night, i started spotting a little bit. i was supposed to get my period a few days ago, and it's still not here. i have not had sex in 2 years so im not pregnant. however, this will be my first period since moving back to college. do you think it has something to do with the change of lifestyle? usually my period gets messed up when i move to school or home. also, is it normal to have some spotting before my period starts?

The stress of moving back to school can throw your cycle off a bit, definitely. It's also perfectly normal to spot a bit before your period starts, and the spotting you're experiencing now could very well be your period - sometimes it can take awhile to get started.
